A Catholic school is distinctive because of the living faith and its practice that unites all those present. It is a living partnership of school governors, parents who have chosen the school and committed staff (teaching and non-teaching).
In the middle of this partnership are the very people for whom the school exists - the children.
The aims of the school are:
v deliver a curriculum that
is appropriate to the needs of each child
v create a happy and stimulating
environment for all associated with the life of our school
v encourage a caring attitude
throughout the school based on mutual respect of one for another
v provide close links between
the home, school, parishes and the wider community
v meet the needs of our young
people of today in the light of the Church’s faith in Jesus
Christ
v strive to uphold the Gospel
values as exemplified by Himself
Here at St. Alban’s we are very involved with our partnership with the parishes of St. Alban and St. Hugh’s. With the support of our Church and the parents, we encourage our children to achieve their fullest potential. We aim to do the best for the children entrusted to our care.
ST. ALBAN’S SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
